How to DeviantArt: Status Updates
Three years ago I created a tutorial when DA came out with what was arguably my favorite new feature of all time: Status Updates. GONE were the days where I needed to use a poll or journal to get a simple thought or declaration of hilarity across to my watchers. GLORY BE!
The original tutorial was created to help others find this wonderful piece of the delicious DA pie and it's still relevant... But now there is this MASSIVE change coming in the form of DeviantArt Eclipse... So here is an entirely new one!
Eclipse is really enhancing the usability of status updates. I hope this tutorial will help you embrace the new ways to use Status Updat

Time for the next How To Eclipse guide and when you're done learning everything there is to know about submitting your artwork to the new DeviantArt, you will become the next Submit Master (not to be confused with Pokemon Master). Submitting in Eclipse brings back some of the options we know well but adds some new features that will help your art be discovered by the community.
To get to Master level, we're covering the following topics:

How to DeviantArt: Cover Images!
Hold on to your hats, cowboys. We're back with another one... and a--and a--and another one. One of the new-for-Eclipse features you may see people talking about is Cover Images. The Cover Image is really the first stand-out piece that someone will see when they visit your profile in Eclipse. Arguably, your cover image could keep someone on your profile or send them elsewhere! Since it is such an important element to engage people who visit you, it's important to make the most of this feature. Staff also put out a great journal with a video to introduce you to the new profile as a whole!
For this tutorial on Cover Images, we'll cover (see w

Software Introduction Week
Let me introduce you to the one and only "Adobe Illustrator"
Created in 1987, Adobe Illustrator has been the leading software for Vector graphics creation. In 2018, 32 years after it was conceived, PC Magazine still considers it as "The best vector-editing graphics software around", topping CorelDraw. To buy your subscription and download a copy of Adobe Illustrator, head over Adobe.com.
You installed it. Now what?
When you first launch it, you'll see the featured artwork of the amazing Kervin Brisseaux:

Eclipse Change Log: November 28, 2018
Thank you for your continued feedback and bug reports on DeviantArt Eclipse! Our team has been working on customization and personalization options and we have brainstorming sessions planned where we’ll be further discussing how you’ll be able to customize and personalize your profile in Eclipse. We’ve been gathering and sorting your feedback, including the top ways you use Custom Box, and we’ll be reviewing it in these brainstorm sessions. We will have more to share soon! In the meantime, we’re still working on other customization features already in the design stages, including editing your bio and custom cropping of your profile header art. We’ve seen some creative ways people are featuring single deviations on their profile (for example, see @ellysiumn and @katy-l-wood’s profiles), and we’re working on the ability to more-easily feature a single deviation on your profile. Here’s this week’s change log! Change Log Header art quality on profiles has improved. If your header art
